Microfiltration

In Microfiltration (MF) suspended solids such as precipitates or bacteria are rejected to the membrane while all the other compounds are passing through the membrane.

In Ultrafiltration (UF), suspended solids, macro molecules, proteins, polysaccharides and viruses are rejected to the membrane.

Nanofiltration

Nanofiltration (NF) membrane rejects suspended solids, macro molecules, di- and oligosaccharides and divalent salts.

Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the tightest possible membrane process in liquid-liquid separation. In theory, water is the only compound passing through the membrane. Reverse Osmosis rejects macro molecules, di- and monosaccharides, aminoacids, di- and monovalent salts.
